No, being unhackable isn't a thing. That’s why companies like MasterCard have full-time employees dedicated to cleaning up hacks and defending against them.
What this service does do is make your site much harder to hack. We'll monitor activity so that we'll know if there is an attack happening, provide fixes and clean up if a hack does happen, and a few other perks (as shown above).
If you are ever hacked, we clean up the hack, adjust the security, deal with the blacklists (if any), and put your online home back in order so you are back in business.
We do the work so you can relax and keep doing what you do best.

The first thing to know is that hackers work 24/7 on all websites, globally. Hackers. Never. Stop. Even if they aren't really trying to get into your site, they may use it to hack bigger fish on the server or at your host. Websites are being attacked all the time, but unless you have some type of security software or you actually get hacked, you'd probably never know it.
Websites can be hacked through all kinds of ways, from security vulnerabilities on their hosting platform; a security issue in their WordPress theme or a plugin; or because of a weak username or password.
Your hosting company should support the latest versions of PHP and MySQL; have experience with and is optimized for running WordPress; scan for malware and intrusive files, and have a knowledgeable and accessible staff. (Some of the reasons why we love our preferred host!)
If you do not update your website’s software (WordPress, your theme, your plugins), you are more susceptible to attacks and for things to quit working.
WordPress and most themes and plugins release major and minor updates throughout the year to comply with new privacy laws, provide new features, fixes to security, bugs, or errors, and other important things.
Updates are also important to ensure your software functions properly. Just like those annoying iphone updates you must do in order to keep using your favorite apps, WordPress, themes, and software work the same way. Or (I love analogies), like keeping your car running takes ongoing maintenance, your website needs maintenance to keep it purring like a kitten.
Updates and security are non-negotiable!
Each month, my team and I will update your plugins, theme, and WordPress once we determine the update is safe to proceed with. (Once in a while software updates are pushed out that aren't yet compatible with other plugins/services or have bugs, etc. If there is an issue after updating, we'll roll back until the bug is fixed/fix the problem.)
Minor edits/updates to copy and images or minor technical support can be taken care of if included with your Premium or Empowered package. Additional assistance over your package limit (or for larger projects) will be billed as a separate project and will include your discounted rate for being a WordPress Care, Maintenance & Hosting Plan client.
Having your site hosted on WordKeeper servers is a requirement of this service to ensure we are able to properly monitor, secure, optimize, manage backups and software updates, and support your website.
The move from your current host to WordKeeper during the initial onboarding and lockdown is an easy, smooth process.
Hosting with WordKeeper, our preferred host, also comes with a plethora of additional benefits such as fast load times, a free SSL certificate, and superb support.
Each care plan includes WordKeeper's Basic Plan for no additional fee.*
*Ecommerce sites, sites with more than 25,000 in monthly visits, or that need more than 1GB of storage, require WordKeeper's higher hosting tier (their Plus Plan), which is an additional $20/month per site. (Other hosting tiers also available as needed.) WordPress Multisite/multilingual environments will also fall within the Plus or a higher plan. View WordKeeper's pricing here.

Our WordPress Care, Maintenance & Hosting service is quite extensive, but it does NOT include the following:
- Email hosting: Hosting your email or setting up of email addresses is not included with this service.
IMPORTANT: If your current web host is the same place where your email is hosted, and you are happy with it, you'll need to continue to pay them for your email hosting.
If you need help setting up professional email addresses or moving your email to Google Workspace, I'm happy to provide assistance in getting that taken care of. Setting up of email or email assistance will incur a separate fee.
- Extensive time/labor resolving issues resulting from plugin conflicts (which could happen with plugins we installed or additional plugins you may have added). Or, extensive time/labor on other tasks or projects.
- Fixes necessary caused by YOU doing any updates. This is a kick-back-and-relax service, let us take care of the updates. We'll do them once we've verified it's safe to proceed.
- Move to another host: Should you decide to cancel this service, a fee to move your website over to your preferred host will apply.
- Software licenses: Should you decide to cancel this service (and if this applies to your website), you will pay an annual fee to Create Launch Grow Design for use of our developer's licenses for any software used on your website (at discount vs. if you purchased on your own) or I'll provide you with the information, so you can purchase your own licenses.
While we'd hate to see you go, we know things happen, no hard feelings!
All we ask is that you provide us with 30 days' notice via email. Upon cancellation, we can provide you with the latest backup that you can give to your new web host. Or, we can move your site for you to your preferred host for an additional fee.
